Greetings from Singapore
Loved the look of Jags from a young age.
Got my first Jag some 8 years ago, a 15 yr old XJ40 2.9 Sovereign with only 25k km! I just loved the ride and classic feel. As I was my only car, it was a love-hate relationship especially during breakdowns and anxiety over whatever else that needs renewing. So parted ways after about a year and a half.
Spotted a late 2005 XJ6 3.0 about a year ago when we decided on a second car. Dream come true... along with the usual anxieties associated with Jaguar owners! Have so far replaced the undercarriage bushings, a/c fan coil, water pump, throttle body, radiator expansion tank, rear air suspension and immediately after that got that much feared 'gearbox fault' message, off amd on.
Thanks to this forum, decided to change the transmission fluid, pan and filter rather than believe ZF's 'Sealed for Life' assurance! We just crossed 150k km this week.
Cheers!
