Default New jaguar owner from Singapore

Hello from Singapore. I'm a 32 yr old aussie living in Singapore and just recently bought my first jag. I've bought a 2004 Xj6 3.0 short wheel base in gun metal and so far very happy with it.

Most people have reacted favourably to my purchase but then others have made comments like oh you're too young for that or that doesnt suit you .... i'm a bit eccentric anyway so they must not know me veru well!

I fell in love with the x350 in 2008 when I met my wife in Tokyo who was driving one at the time. She drove a white XJ8 2007 long wheel base version.

I dont like the styling of a lot of cars these days. They're so futuristic looking ... audi, mercedes bmw. It doesnt appeal to me at all, jaguars are for the cognescente!

Welcome to the forum Krush04!
I agree, the styling of most new cars appear to have been cast from the same mold and painted different colors.

Welcome to the forum,

I agree with your friends, you should not have a Jag until you reach 90. :-)

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. We have a baseline / criteria that must be met before full access can be granted. Please enjoy the forum and be patient once the baseline has been satisfied full access will be granted. Please continue to post and accept my welcome to the forum.

One other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.
