Default Greetings from Texas

Greetings Jaguar Community,

My name is Eli and I'm the proud new owner of a beautiful 2007 Jaguar XJR with 70k miles and impeccable service history. This is my first Jaguar having been a big VW group and MB fan for quite some time. I purchased it last week from DC and drove it down to central TX over the past few days. I have really seen what makes these cars so special, the poise, grace, power, and design are just fantastic and refreshing in a world of turbocharged 2.0l aerodynamic people carriers. I have encountered a few 'eccentricities' that I will need this forum's sage wisdom in addressing. I will create a new thread on the subject shortly. I am moderately comfortable working on cars - I've just rebuilt a 1988 Mercedes Benz 300CE engine, but given the increased complexity of this vehicle and my lack of Jaguar experience I will proceed with caution.

Looking forward to learning from all of you - thanks!
