Default Greetings & thanks

Hi All,
Greetings from Napa, California. I drove my BRG 2000 XK8 convertible home yesterday, and am still grinning; but more importantly decided it really was time to sign up!

I've been reading the forums for a while, and wanted to start out by thanking everyone for the wealth of information, and sense of community that pervades these forums. You unknowingly persuaded me to buy the car, so I will attempt to repay the favour.

Originally from the UK, I've owned and worked on a variety of cars over the years (Triumphs, Rovers & Range Rovers, a couple of Saabs and an Alfa), but this is my first Jag and I'm really not sure what took me so long!

I'll post some info and questions about the car in the XK8 forum.
Best
John

Welcome to the forum John,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. Congratulations on the XK8.

You clearly already know your way to the XK8/XKR tech forum so there's no need for a link.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
