Default Greetings from an XJS fan!

Hi everyone,

Just joined the forum. Already had a very helpful reply from GGG, which has solved my problem. Cheers for that!

I've had my XJS since Jan'13. It's in silver & only has 49000 on the clock. Already enjoyed doing a full service throughout the winter, and now replaced the rear hub o/s fulcrum bearings (almost!) and radius arm bearings on both sides.

Lovely to have a proper beautiful old British car to play with. Nothing goes wrong on my 1994 Porsche 911, which gets very boring, plus that gorgeous Jag cockpit and ride takes some beating for longer journeys.

Welcome to the forum ScotDoc,

That's exceptionally low miles on a UK XJS. It should be in very good condition.

So you 'enjoyed doing a full service throughout the winter'. You'll have had plenty of time to complete it as it seems to have been Winter since last September.

I know you've already found the XJS tech section so no need for a link. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues. You'll find some of the members there have done almost entire rebuilds and their knowledge of the model is very impressive.

Enjoy the XJS and enjoy the forum.

Graham
