Looked for a long time for a Caviar or British Green Jag. Then two Caviars popped up in the local market at once - one XJ and one XF for the same price!

I have a Caviar XF. Actually it wasn't my first choice, but unlike earlier Jaguars, the XF looks way too much like every other sedan so I darned sure wasn't going to buy one in the common non-color colors of black, white, silver or grey. Indeed after four months of only black, white, silver and grey XFs coming up for sale locally and making a couple of 300-400 mile road trips to look at blue and green ones with issues, a Caviar with low enough miles showed up at an Acura dealer about 30 miles away. Funny thing is when the salesman filled out the registration paperwork for the state, he said he had to pick a common color name like what police would be told to look for if it were stolen. To me its closer to brown, but to the salesman it was closer to purple so he picked purple. Apparently if it gets stolen, you'll only have a 50/50 chance of police being able to spot it.
Enough about the color. Having driven an earlier XJ8 for years, I opted for the mid-sized XF which is still a considerably larger car, but able to walk around it in my garage unlike the new XJ which is a behemoth.
