Default Hello

Hello, my name is Mike and I am a Jaguar owner!

I am an early retired agrochemical advisor, I live in a small Nottinghanshire village, spend a fair part of the summer at a very modest holiday home on the Argyll coast. In the winter I travel to somewhere warm with good game fishing for a few weeks and somewhere cold for a couple of weeks snowmobile touring.
Three years ago I decided that I needed a new toy, so I bought a one owner 2002 XK8 convertible in silver. It has the 4.2 engine with the 6 speed auto box. Despite having only covered 40k miles I had quite a few niggles with it. After a dissapointing start, I have now found a good independant specialist who seems to have sorted most of the niggles.

Hi Mike, Welcome to JaguarForums and one of the friendliest bunches of Jaguar fans you will find anywhere :-) I see that Jim & Graham have given you a few pointers to get you started - so it just leaves me to say Welcome :-)
If you get a chance to have a look in the UK regional section you will see that there are events around the country where you can meet other members, put names to faces and cars and have a great day out.. if you get the opportunity to sign up to a meet near you it will likely be be well worth going :-)
Please enjoy your time online here and it's good to have you onboard

I have had a try at the signature and picture............I'll try again!

The specialist who I started to use recently and have been very pleased with is Jagtech Nottingham.

Mike,

Changes to Signatures show on the NEXT post - not instantly. This catches out a lot of members!

Jagtech has a good reputation.
