Default Hello!

Well hello!

I'm finally having a Jaguar again.

My very first car was a Jaguar Sovereign 3.6 -87, I also learnt to drive in that car and took my driver's license in it too! That particular car is still alive and is used as a summer car be it's current owners.

I guess the short story is that I've been driving Jaguars ever since. A year ago I was diagnosed with a non curable type of cancer, GBM 4, because there was talk about not being able to drive I decided to sell my Jaguar at the time (Jaguar XF S Portfolio).

Being a car lover not being able to drive seeing my car in the driveway every day was nothing I was interested in.

Now 18 months later I'm still hanging on. Living life day by day. Enjoying it as much as I can.

Having six dogs, 3x Jack Russells, 1x Parson Russell and 2x Golden Retrievers made me end up owning a lot of Land Rovers instead but I really really regret selling me Jaguar.

Not being keen on the new XJ and feeling the X308s that were up for sale was not what I was looking for I bought my X350 XJR.

I love the car and it's great being a Jaguar owner again. In a strange way I like swapping out parts improving and taking care of it. I know. I'm weird!

I'll see you guys on the forum and you guys in the UK and Scotland you may spot me later this year. Watch out for a Range Rover Sport Autobiography with the registration plates "Dr Who" or "Dentist". I'm not Doctor Who, nor a dentist. I'm actually a solicitor which may be just as bad

I'll start a road book later this weekend and post a few pictures here.

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum Daniel,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X350 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.

You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
