My new years resolution for 2021 was to be more spontaneous.
I've always fancied an old jag and have been toying with the idea of a bargain basement banger (potential horror story) for a while.
So I am now the happy owner of a 1995 X300 Jaguar XJ6 complete with 6 months MOT for £750.
So how long has it taken to break? It actually ran completely fine for the first couple of days but has now developed a habit of stalling intermittently but only when the engine is up to temperature. I'll make a post in the specific forum about my troubles and hopefully some of the wiser amongst you can help me nurse her back to health. My goal for this is to avoid taking it to a garage at all costs (and hence learn as much as possible in the process).
Regarding the below pictures, yes I have already tested the winter condition abilities!
Hello, Simon,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
Your weather in these pictures reminds me of Montana where I grew up.
Your weather in these pictures is also why I left.

Thank you for the welcome all.
It’s not always like this in the U.K. and definitely nowhere near as cold as Montana can get.
The car has winter tyres on from one of the previous owners (very unusual for U.K.) so it goes quite well in the snow!
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
