After looking at a Jaguar XJL in 1996 I became obsessed with the beauty and lines of these amazing machines. I had a few other cars on the bucket list but saved the best for last. So as time progressed I check out a 2005 XK and then seen a 2007 XK...the XK was the one. In 14 heard the bad news the XK were going to be discontinued but was sitting in my Vanishing Point Dodge Challenger (still new). So I gracefully put miles on here waiting until the right time. I pulled the trigger in March 18 and got and very low mileage 2013 Indigo Blue XK, bought locally in Chicago IL. I honestly cannot compare these vehicles to any other car I've owned. (03/06) E46 BMW's, nope...RT Challenger...nope, Infinity...nope, nope, nope, nope. They are in a class of their own (oh and I looked at a used DB9 Volante, nope...Jag just has that swag, it says enough without being an Aston or overpriced muscle car. So here I am, a very proud owner of an XK, truly my dream car, as a gear head I'm a bit sad I cannot really work on her, but I have an XJ Cherokee for that. I did the clean Jag puddle lights but I might stop there. It's great to be on this forum and thanks for being here for us NOOBS, ha.

Congratulations on realizing your dream Jaguar!
Ya never know what you might learn to fix when you start asking questions on the XK section. It's probably easier to work on than you think.
