Default Hello from Denver!

I've just purchased a mint condition Vanden Plas red, 109K. White leather runs like a top garaged every day of it's life and is a spectacular specimen. I do realize these are not factory wheels, the gentleman i purchased it from said there had been on it when he purchased it 18 years ago at 30k. I do have a few questions after this post and will be posting them politely. I hope you all are doing well and would like to thank you for the knowledge bank in advance - Jacob

What a Pretty Car, Jacob! And it's RED! My second favorite right after BLACK.
Those wheels might not be "factory," but they look Really nice on that car!

Someone will be along soon to direct you to the correct section where you can ask questions if you need to, or just hang out.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Hi Jacob! What a beauty she is. I was looking at a white Vanden Plas before I picked out the silver XK8. What year is she?

Welcome Jacob.
That is a nice one. I was thinking about getting a 2008 in Atlanta
It was silver with a dark interior but it had been hit on both sides and front and back.
The dealer didn't show it with the hood and trunk open. So I moved on.

Welcome to the forum Jacob,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. That is a fine looking example.

I can see you've already found your way to the X300 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Central Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-central-36/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Welcome to Jaguar ownership Jacob! She's a beauty all right. Those wheels really pop! I don't recall seeing those kind on a Jaguar before. It's not easy to find appropriately stylish aftermarket wheels, that fit properly on the older models. They make your car particularly unique.

Excellent job acquiring such a fine condition VDP. It is always good to start out with a solid example. You will have fun in that car! See you in the X300 section.
