Thought I'd jump out ahead of the curve and grab a user name that would make it unnecessary for people to remind me that my X-type is not all that. With that bit of business out of the way, Hello! Glad to be here.

Joining here reminds me of my pretentious youth when I attempted to join Mensa. I was told, "You qualify, I guess, barely. But do you really want to join a group where you will always be the dregs?" Being young and prideful, I gave up the idea. Now older and wiser I see the error of my ways. The fact that I purchased my first Jaguar last Friday, that it is only an X-Type, and that it only set me back $3500 is neither here nor there. I'm in the door!

I've had people tell me I paid too much for a ford Taurus and things like that but I love my X type, and its still very much a Jag. Frankly I love that a lot of it is ford. btw, funny intro, made me laugh haha.
