Default Hello everyone

I purchase my dream car in June. Drove it from the dealership to my garage near Fort Myers and then flew home to New Brunswick, Canada. So I never got to really try it. It is a 1990 XJS V12 convertible, diamond blue in color with a blue soft top. Everything I always dreamed off.
So nice to meet everyone. Now I have to do another post about a few surprises I got yesterday when I got back to Florida and looked under the hood.

Brayon

Brayon-

Welcome to the site.

Will the car be staying in FL or is the goal to bring it up north?

Thanks for the warm welcome.
The car will stay in SW Florida as we do not have great roads in Eastern Canada. Also the weather is better here to enjoy the car!

I've been cleaning the car and have had minor surprises to date, except for a leak under the tranny which I hope to take care of today. Looks like the oil pan is leaking as one of the bolts has oil on it.

What? you don't like our roads? is it the pot holes, the logging trucks, or the tailgaters? Besides it is a sunny -6C today close to drop top weather! Just kidding, I will be in Tampa next week but can't bring the Jag this trip. Welcome to the Forum.

Funny, you are right, I'm from New Brunswick also. I told the mayor of our community that we should hold a pothole festival.
For the winter months, it will be nice to use the XJS in SW Florida.
