Hello everyone
I just wanted to briefly introduce myself as a new member. I have had a few jaguars in the past, including an F type and an '01 XJR, and currently have an XK we are trying to sell. Since it's all about the cars here, I thought I'd introduce myself through the Jags I've had
The F type was an amazing car, one of my favorite cars I've ever driven. It was a convertible, and just as nice cruising down the highway as it was on winding back roads. The exhaust note was unbelievable, I certainly plan on owning another one someday
The XJR is a pleasure to drive as well, but all the little things that end up breaking ended up with a bit of frustration. The sunroof stopped working recently and the dealer said it needed a new assembly, which of course is a part they could not actually provide themselves. After a few weeks of searching for a working assembly, a shop that was doing regular maintenance on the car looked and realized they could pretty quickly realign the roof and fixed it in a day, certainly the last time I'll go to the dealer who originally diagnosed it...
