Hi JC, welcome to the forums.
I was stationed at Roosevelt Roads in '67 ~ '68.
Lived in your neck of the woods, in Ceiba for a few months, then in Fajardo.
Beautiful country .... I enjoyed my stay there.

I love PR...wife and I are looking for land to buy for a retirement place now! She is from a small town called Guayanilla on the south side of the island near Ponce. Have to head back there in Oct for a wedding. I can't wait..love the place.
Cheers,
Chris

Thanks everyone.
retromotors: this is really a small world! I was borned in Fajardo, live now in Luquillo, but went to school in Roosevlet Roads until fourth grade (my father was a Marine). Lots of changes since then!
g2ktcf: you should try the east coast. Better properties, it is a tourist area and still affordable.
