Default Hello From Houston

Just purchased a 2004 XKR with 60k miles that has been a bit neglected for the last couple of years. Nothing major - needs a full detail including clear coat buff (black exterior), a few minor repairs - and a full maintenance cycle.

I have wanted a Jag or Porsche all my life. Finally!

Will post some photo's once I get it cleaned up.

Any suggestions for good but reasonably priced shops in the Spring / Woodlands area? Anyone use Champion Jaguar Service?

Any sports car clubs in the area you can recommend?

This forum has been extremely useful - been reading back through all the posts. Thanks in advance to all.

I have a guy who can give you the best detail for that car. He is out in Humble...

www.humbleautodetail.com

He is the only one I will let touch my car now.

Not in any car clubs but there are a couple nice car shows you can attend...One is coffee and cars in Vintage Park @ 249 / Louetta....First Saturday of each month.. IT IS A HUGE gathering...be warned show up early or you wont get a spot.

Then on most Saturday evenings there is a classic car show in Atascocita in the Denny's/24HR Fitness parking lot.

Welcome to the forum bluetone,

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR tech section so no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Southwest Region section by following this link Southwest US - AZ TX NM OK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.
