I just took delivery of my first Jag. She's a near flawless platinum/grey '03 XKR with 27K and a transferable 75K near bumper to bumper third party warranty. About the only thing that isn't covered is the top. After reading some of the stories I guess I can understand why.

I think I'll look into that hydraulic pump pressure reducing kit I read about on this forum. It could be it's the best $250 I could spend.

Thanks all, 'preciate the welcome! I'm down in SugarLand at the Colony. I've only had her for about a week and since it rained the day I picked her up and about every day since I've not been out much. The car's been a garage ornament since it was built and I intend to keep it that way as much as I'm able. It's hard, real hard.

This place is gold mine of information and experience on the Jaguar and since I have neither I'm proud to be here.

 

I'm Sugarland also, so hope to see you out and about. I tend to drive my bright red Explorer truck rather than the Jaguar, so don't freak out if you see me waving frantically.
