Hello, I'm new here.
Hi, hope this post comes out OK as I am more of a spanners and hammers dude than computers.
Sorry I'm jabbering on.
I'm from West Yorkshire, U.K. and have just bought a ten year old X type estate sport with the 3ltr.
My dad has just aquired one of the last xj8s and it made me look at jags on the old e-bay.
thought the x type estate looked good for the long distance runs to watch touring cars, superbikes, drag racing and all that. Usually have a Volvo for that stuff but I fancied a change!
Managed to score a fully specced 05 with no rot or rust anywhere FSH and reams of receipts for next to no money.
Hoping that it's not down hill from here! Volvo's cost a bomb to fix too so, yes, I'm ready for silly bills for parts, and the spark plugs were done 400 miles ago so won't have to pull the manifold off for a bit! Hopefully.
