Default Hello! Just added our first Jaguar to the stable

Just a quick hello to everyone on the forum.
I've been a die hard Benz guy, but just traded my 2005 S600 w/ over 130k miles for a 2009 XF Supercharged (55k miles, balance of CPO) for looming cost and reliability reasons.

I was very active on the Merc forums having done a lot of work on the cars myself, including playing around the diagnostic multiplexer side of things. I am looking forward to learning more about our XF s/c and sharing whatever knowledge I have.

Having just had the vehicle for a couple days, I can say I enjoy the sporty suspension setup, styling, and exhaust note of the engine. The B&W stound system is nothing short of spectacular as well!

Still trying to navigate my way around the functions/features (like what do I get with the flag-trac button that the regular DSC button doesn't provide?), but have been having a blast doing so.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum Tanman,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Added your first Jaguar - that sounds like a declaration of intent!

Follow this link XF and XFR ( X250 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XF/XFR forum for help, advice and information.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

I saw in the Chicago Tribune on Monday that you're having some serious cold and snow at the moment. You can also visit the US Mid West Region forum by following this link Mid West US - IL IN IA MI MN MO OH WI - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Done! Thanks for the guidance for the signature setup.

Definitely cold here. -5 degrees according to the car temp. Can't wait to get some warmer (or at least dry road) days to really get a chance to open up the engine.
