Default Hello from Kentucky

Hi all, Last week I purchased a 2004 X-Type 3.0 sport and it came standard with a permanent grin stretched across my face. I found this forum very informative and helpful while making my decision and with a couple of questions I have had since I brought the car home. Nice to meet you guys and I look forward to corresponding with you.

Thanks for the welcome! I guess my intro was a bit terse. My X-type is onyx on champagne (or white on tan, as we say here in KY). I got it for $10500 in near perfect condition with 59500 miles. I know there is always a better deal out there but I was very happy with mine and felt like I could not pass it up. After all, we have to do our parts to help the economy, right? I have admired jags since I was a kid and now I have to force myself not to sleep in it at night. I left work for lunch yesterday and could not stop driving long enough to eat. I went back to work with an empty stomach but the huge smile on my face was worth it.

About me, I am an artist (I make sculpture, photographs, paintings and sometimes prints) and I work for Murray State University. I went to Tennessee, Knoxville for undergrad and Georgia for grad school.

In addition to the jag I have a 2007 Yamaha FZ6 and a 2004 Ford Ranger with the Edge package. I will post some images soon. Thanks again for the welcome.
