Default Hello from MD

About a month ago I bought my first jaguar, a 2004 xj8, and it has been absolutely great. The first day I got the car somebody at a stoplight told me my brake light was blinking with my opposite turn signal. After some time thanks to this forum I found the culprit was the rear fuse box, easy fix. It's been great for daily driving but I've noticed since it's got colder when I start the car theres a noticeable squeak and then a clicking follows. I noticed the click is in sync with the serpentine belt moving back and forth on the belt guide, is this a sign of a belt tensioner going bad? Anyway I look forward to your guy's help and eventually being able to help others!

Welcome to the forums xj804,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the X350 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also use the US Mid Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-mid-atlantic-65/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
Probably you could ask about the clicking the same place you found the answer to the fuse problem.
Those members will certainly know what's going on.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
