Hello, new Jag owner here!
Hello,
My name is Julie and I just recently purchased a black 2002 Jaguar X-type.
I am very happy with how the car handles and runs. BUT there are a few minor issues I could use some advice with, so here I am! I look forward to meeting you all!

Welcome to the forums juliesjag!!! You have come to the right place to get the right advise. Besure to check out the X Type section and remember to use the search feature, saves alot of time.

Hey JJ welcome aboard JF, great to have you here with us.
Nice pic on the X type, great car. The 02's being an early model had a few issues worked out in later years......please check the X type quick FAQ link thread for lots of info, and good luck
Hope you enjoy the site.....
Loads going on, plenty of very friendly and helpful members as well as some excellent tech advice......all good!
In the meantime I've manually upgraded you to full forum access so you can better view the site

Hello Julie and welcome to jaguarforums.com.
If you haven’t already you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for. To do this go to, User CP, Edit Signature, Add Vehicle Details and such and Save Your Signature.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.

BriteRed: I am glad to help even things out! =)
Jack the Lad: It's funny you say that, I have never cared so much about smudges and rain drops! I do wash it an awful lot and then yes, I love to look at it!
The other funny thing I have noticed, is peoples reaction. I hear the "OH, it's a JAG!" every where I go! It almost makes me uncomfortable at times. But I have always wanted one, so I am pretty proud.
