Hi,
My name is Nick and I live on the Isle of Thanet in Kent, England.
I have had a number of Jags in the past, a 92 XJ6 (XJ40) 3.2, a 98 XJ8 (X308) Sport 4.0, both of which I sold ten plus years back. A couple of weeks a go I succumb to the urge and bought a 96 XJR (X300) in Antigua Blue. It is in nice condition, very clean underneath and with 63K (miles) on the clock. It has a few niggly issues that I would like to discuss.

I've been told by some who should know, that once you own a Jaguar it's in your blood Forever; Eventually you'll come back to the Ownership Arena! It would seem there is truth to that, not only in your case but in the cases of several other current members.

I can see you've already found your way to the X300 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Many thanks for the warm welcome I hope have added the car(s) to my email signature successfully.
ElinorB you're right once you have had a Jaguar it is difficult to shake the urge to have one, as I am testimony to.
