Hello from non-owner, long time admirer
I have always admired Jaguar design, so I figure one day I will own one. I like the old XK, XJS and both versions of the modern XK. I am a car design fan and really appreciate good attention to detail on the inside, and flow lines on the outside.
Then I attended a Jaguar Alive event and became completely hooked. I drove an XJR, XFR, XK Conv, and XKR-S. I can't believe what those guys let us drive and what they let us do in them. It was so much fun.
I currently drive an 08 Audi TT coupe, 3.2 v6 with DSG transmission. Lots of fun and very complete car. My few complaints are intrusive road noise and the small car that nobody sees.

Welcome to the forum Fred,
Now you know you must have a Jaguar, it comes down to which model. Sounds like it's going to be one of the 2 door Coupes.
Plenty of help and advice here. Enjoy the search.

You're right, I'm aiming for another two door coupe. I'm a bit torn between an early 2000's XK, or a modern model. Spec wise, I think they are fundamentally the same. But there is plenty of new stuff that I would appreciate on the 2007 and up models. They sure look nice, anyway.
Any thoughts on the mysterious F-type? I have my doubts as I don't want a small, inconvenient, road-noise monster. The XK seems more my style. And yet Jaguar isn't known for making noisy tin cans.
