Default Hello from nsw australia

It looks like i might be in trouble as I posted a couple of thingies before I did this introduction.
So, assuming I am not banned/ostracized, here we go.
I am a retired mechanical engineer living in Terrigal, a suburb of The Central Coast, just north of Sydney. I like to build model steam engines from scratch and during Covid I have made 3 and working on the 4th. 23 years ago I build a Cobra Replica with a Ford 302 EFI motor with Jag suspension. I still have the car but it does not venture out of the garage very much these days as my wife it not so keen on being exposed to the elements, mainly sunshine and wind.
So I have it up for sale and had a couple of guys interested. With the money from it I intend to buy a Mk2, I have always liked them very much so now is the time to own one. I will need an automatic as being 6'3" I find it very difficult to drive a manual one. (the Cobra is manual but as it is a 94" wheelbase one I have plenty of legroom in it).
I will keep you posted on any developments.
Bob

Welcome to the forums Bob,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Australia - New South Wales ACT Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...-wales-act-93/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums and good luck in the search for a MKII.

Graham
