Default Hello from NW Georgia

Hello. I just purchased a 2003 XJ VDP. It will be used to cart my (almost) 2 year old daughter around.

This makes my fourth car. My others are a 1955 210 sedan, 1968 Camaro SS (350 4 speed), and a C5 corvette convertible. My wife drives a 2013 CRV.

The original idea was that the CRV would be used to take my daughter in all the time. But here we are, a year later, and my wife still cannot drive a manual, and is afraid to drive the 55. Trading in the other vehicles was out of the deal for us, so I compromised and now we have “Beth”.

I live in Ringgold, GA.

Welcome to the forum FLAKE,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

2003 was a model change year. If your VdP is the earlier steel bodied, follow this link XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues. If it is the later aluminium bodied model, follow this link XJ ( X350 & X358 ) XJ6 / XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X350 forum.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link Lower Atlantic - NC SC FL GA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
