Hello everyone, My name is Peter and i'm from a Small town just outside of Auckland NZ, I'm a new Jaguar owner and forum member, I have recently acquired a 1974 XJ6 4.2 in white, she requires a little TLC to get back up to scratch but it's going to be a labour of love, I was originally looking for an X300 but it was love at first drive with the SII.
I'm very pleased to be a new member of the forum and will be sure to spend a reasonable amount of time on here in the future.
Welcome to the forums.
That is pretty, especially for it's age.
My first car was a '73 but it wasn't a Jag. Sadly it went to the junkyard long ago after the winter salt ate it up.
Enjoy the drive.
Thank's, it looks great in White, it isn't however old english white, so paint matching is proving to be a nightmare, so much so I've decided to re-spray the whole car.
Yours looks better now than my Series II did in 1980!
I can see you've already found your way to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Thanks everyone for your kind words, I am very fortunate to be able to own and restore such a beautiful car, it isn't without it's flaws but overall in great shape for its vintage, if there are any other members in the area it would be great to meet at some point
