Greetings. After years and years of dreaming, I finally last month had the thrill of acquiring a 1996 XJ6 Base 4.0, with only 52k original miles on it. Immaculate and a dream to drive. I live on the peninsula in Washington State, west of Seattle. Have loved cars my entire life, and have a Hotwheels collection the size of a small army. Logging in here because I’ve been reading threads here for a few weeks now, and figured I might as well join. Looking forward to making friends and learning more.

Hi Richard - Chesterton’s name is an obscure philosophical joke based on a play on the names of famous comics figures Calvin & Hobbes (both names for famous philosophers who they in no way resembled), and my alternate yet analogous modern pairing of [Bertrand] Russell and [G.K.] Chesterton. So yeah. How’s that for odd?
