I am a long time car enthusiast who has wandered these forums before but never been an official member. I have owned 56 cars in the past, and 3 months ago purchased a 1997 XJ6 x300 which has already become one of my favorite cars. Other cars I currently have include a 1969 MB 280S, 1969 MB 280SE, 1971 MB 300SEL 3.5 4/speed, and a 1990 Dodge B250 van. Around 10 years ago I had a pristine 1971 S1 XJ6 which I have long regretted selling! My new Xj6 is proving to be a fine substitute.
My background is in automotive engineering, but I have spent much of the last 10 years making artwork from recycled bicycle parts that I sell at Pike Place Market in Seattle.
I look forward to joining these forums and want to thank in advance the many more experienced Jaguar owners for their contributions and assistance!
I can see you've already found your way to the X300 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Welcome Leo. Thanks for the great intro. Check our the regional section for local meets and discussions. I'll be sure and stop by your shop next time I'm at The Market! We used to go daily when we lived downtown, but it's quite a trek from Kingston now.
