Default Hello from Panama

Hello all.
I am picking up a '85 XJ6 either Friday or Saturday. It is a done deal. he is just getting the paperwork together. It is an ex-ambassador's car. But it is in pretty rough shape. It has been sitting for 18 months since he passed away.
I got to working a bit on it today. It runs & drives pretty good with NICE ice cold AC. But the windows dont work to well..or at all & it has a good bit of rust on it.
Cleaned it up ALOT, getting alot of teh mold, dust & spider webs out of it.
Anyway. here are a few photos & a link to the album on photobucket where I am keeping track of the restore/fixer up process.

Nice classic/ almost classic. Just like my Dodge, she'll be ready for historic status in 2010. Good luck with her and welcome.

Thanks all.
I just drove her home a few hours ago. Gotta rip apart the front brakes tomorrow because they are stuck. There is a good amount of surface rust buildup so the they wont release. I am just going to sand & clean the pads & rotors. If I have to i'll clean up the caliper pistons.
Not a big deal. Gotta expect these things when the car has been sitting for almost two years out in the elements.
Going to be a LONG day tomorrow.

All in all I believe it was $800 well spent.
I'll have some good pics up either late tomorrow or Sunday.
