Default Hello from Pittsburgh, PA

First time poster, long time lurker. Looking forward to chatting with those of you that understand Jaguar Mk2's better than I.
I have 3 Jaguars. A 2006 S-Type R which is pretty much my daily driver in the summer (road salt is forbidden!). My baby is a 1966 E-Type Coupe in driver/show conditions. The most recent purchase (Jan 2018) is a 1966 Jaguar Mk2 in kit form. I bought a stalled restoration (I know, I know.....). The car is completely disassembled and in primer. There is no rust on this car aside from a little in the spare tire well. Its a 3.8 with an auto box but I plan to change that to a 5 speed manual. Since I did not take most of the car apart (and meticulously label/bag EVERYTHING), some advise on re-assembly will be needed.
Again, looking forward to talking with you.

Welcome to the forums cdg66mk2,

Good to have you with us. The Parts Catalogue could become your favourite reading!

I can see you've already found your way to the MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Well done on the fleet.

Jaguar "jigsaw puzzles" are something SPECIAL indeed.

Good luck.
