Hello from Prince Edward Island Canada
Hello:
Just purchased a 98 XK8 with low miles and awaiting delivery as I write this post. I've owned several Jags over the last 20 years (mostly xj series). Even owned a couple of "lumps" with chevy V8 engines. Had several Bimmers and Benzes as well but I always seem to gravitate back to the cats. I am well aware of the potential problems common to the xk8. However, depending on how good the car is, you will likely hear from me often until I get it right.

trautobro, I think you will find us a wealth of knowledge. Besides, the newer cats are a slightly different breed than you are used to. I think you will find the newer ones a little easier to maintain. Pet them a little bit and they will purr right back at you.
