Default Hello from south east UK

hello people, im looking into getting my first jag, looking at the x type on a 52 plate, is there anything that could cause problems down the road with these cars, im a former bmw owner but I seen a nice x type with 75,000 on the clock, full service history etc, only thing puttting me off is the wheels, they been scruffed etc, is there a place that I could source some others?

Ive test drove the car this morning, wow really smooth and quietly supprissed, If there is nothing to look out for I think I may go ahead and buy it

cheers

Welcome,

Check the X-Type FAQ's on https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...essories-5915/ link to get an idea of issues with this model.

Replacing wheels is expensive and needs to be factored in to the purchase price. There's several specialists in the UK can do excellent refurbishment or even exchange.

Check SB Wheels

This is the website for Steve Gray in Birmingham who specialises in Jaguar alloys. He's very knowledgeable and several UK members have used his services.

A Google search will bring up plenty of others.

Welcome to the forum.

Good to see you.

For your budget, there are many many of X Types on UK autotrader and 52's look to be well under 2K.

I'd look around some more.
