Default Hello from Springdale, Ohio!

Greetings to all from Springdale, in southern Ohio. This town's only claim to fame is that Col. John Hunt Morgan, with his KY calvary, rode roughshot through here during the civil war. My name is Mike and I have a 2002 jaguar x-type 3.0 with 120k miles. I'm the second owner, bought it in '05 with 27k. It is phoenix red, and if I can get my camera to work I'll post a photo. Since the warranty ran out in 2008, I have been maintaing the vehicle with the help of a childhood friend/mechanic. No major problems as of yet, mostly regular maintence. Currently finishing front suspension and moving to the rear. Ran into a problem on the way out. Which is what brings me here....I will post the question in the appropriate x-type forum later today. Thank you all sincerely.

Welcome to the forum Mike,

Good to hear you've had no major problems with the X-Type in coming up to eight years.

Follow this link X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X-Type section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the US Mid West Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/mid-west-us-il-ia-mi-mn-mo-oh-wi-39/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Thanks for the bit of history! I, of course, immediately had to go look up this "Morgan's Raid" on wikipedia, and consider myself newly educated. I hope you enjoy your Jag, and welcome to the forum!

Hi Mike: Welcome to the forum and greetings form the Midwest Region. You will most certainly find pointers and encouragement to keep your x-type running for years to come. Enjoy it!

Thanks for the link MidwestJag. I will touch base with the region shortly.
I posted a question in the x_type forum on 2/26/13 titled "driver side cv axle 02 x-type"
If anyone has insight, experience, or info, it would be greatly appreciated.
MidwestJag, is it ok to post this in the region too?
