Are there any techs in the Ohio area (I'm in dayton) that would check and/or change the transfer case fluid on my x-type? Please PM me directly.

 

you might try pm'ing JagTechOhio, he might be close to you and he runs a Jag shop so...

I've dealt with him on parts in the past and his service on that front is top notch and I wouldn't be surprised if his shop is of the same high caliber.

DZTT, I'm in Columbus and I do not routinely service X Types. Ali at Wright Auto Exchange in Dayton is a Jag used car dealer, and he sells X Types: perhaps he could refer you to a shop with more specific expertise and less travel required.

He's a pretty straight up guy with clean cars and high prices, and they do not have an in-house service facility. There may not be many Jag techs in Dayton outside of the dealership: I have several customers from there. Good hunting!
