Hello JF members and thanks for having me. I'm a long time owner, first time member. I have a 1988 XJ40 Daimler Six which I try and drive once a week, I'll add pictures at some point. It's an odd car as it has a Sovereign VIN. One day I'll get to the bottom of it. Either it's a Sov with Daimler swap, or an attempt by Jaguar Australia to fill an order quickly. Given the XJ40 chaos either is possible. I'm currently diagnosing a fault where oil pressure drops as car gets up to temperature. Mechanic thinks it's just the old sender, but I remain sceptical.

I'm beginning the hunt for an X350 XJR or similar, and this has motivated me to get back into online communities.
