Cool Hello from Texas-Need all the help with a 2001 jaguar s type 3.0

Having some trouble with a 2001 jaguar s type 3.0. Just finished the suspension from front to back. This was a theft recovery and was able to save her. Have twice the amount its worth invested but nothing drives like a Jaguar. Having trouble the VVT on both banks and of course the famous p0420, im sure it will be followed by the other cat soon. About to try thinner oil with atf and ck on the reflash for the VVT. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. I have come to this site many of times as a guest and got so much valuable information. As a member hopefully i can learn from the best and maybe be able to offer some advice mywelf. Being a diy type of guy it has helped me learn so much without paying out the @$&!. Time to get dirty and be safe!!!

It's SO easy to sink more money into one of our beloved kitties then they're financially worth (you can ask me how I know)! But what Wonderful cars we have when they're all sorted!

Someone will be along soon to direct you to the correct section where you can find help, advice and answers for all those questions.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Br2373,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link US Southwest - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
