Default Hello from Tunbridge Wells

Hello, my name is Paul.
I recently bought a 1997 6 pot XJR as a bit of fun for the weekend and found this forum because the car sometimes stalls when it's cold and I was looking for some info.

Here's a couple of photos.

It's clean to look at from a distance (and digital cameras don't pick up most of the scratches), but as the car only cost £1000 with a years MOT, it's just fine for the 30-50 miles a week I get to drive it for.

This is my second venture into Jaguar ownership, I used to own a 3.4 SIII nearly twenty years ago with one fuel tank that leaked and the other one with no gauge working, but it had to go when I worked out it did 6mpg on a run in the dead of night.

Thanks for having a feature packed site, I'm going to spend a lot of time reading up on the info.

All the best.
Paul.
