Wink Hello world

I'm looking to buy my first car ever at 26 (I'm from a country where people generally don't get cars and Jags are 10x the price they are here).

I figured the XK8 would be a good choice, a car with some soul left (even though it's not an XJS). So I need help to find a good one to begin with, heading over to the XK8 forum now

Hi jagosaurus
I see you are in San Francisco.
I know San Francisco is a strange place but I didn't know it was a strange country.
When I visit there I seem to be in another country!!!!
Welcome and I hope you find a good XK8!!

Ahahahaaha
I do agree.. SF is definitely a different country all together...
people walks a lot... ( i had to walk from Union Sq to North Beach ... up hill... many hills)
good public transportation ... makes commuting so easy and convenient.
i know a lot of people over there who never own a car...

I could be a very expensive investment owning a car over there... especially with the parking...

but anyhow.. (don't want to dampen you high spirit to own a Jag) go get yourself a nice Jag... and post a picture too us.

Welcome.

Thanks for the advice, the mystery country is Norway - land of the fjords, astronomical gas prices, car taxes and gettingyourgoddamnlisence costs (starts at ~$5000)
