Default Helping my cousin

My cousin's husband passed away recently. I am trying to help her find out more about the Jaguars in her airport hanger. Her husband had a huge collection of Fiat 124 Spiders, 3 Jaguars, some Diamler parts, and a Mercedes 6.3 sedan. I have crawled around the hanger and taken pics of 3 XJ 12s, two coupes and one sedan.

The cars in the collection are not pristine, but all are California cars.

Link to the Pics.

I love jaguars myself but have not yet owned one.

Hello,
It looks like your cousin's husband had big dreams he didn't live long enough to realize.
Sad.
Welcome from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum fraxum,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow Norri's link in post #4 to the XJS and XJ12 Series I, II & III forums for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of each is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Yes, so true. In addition to the Jags and Benz, he has like 15 Fiat 124 spiders including a rare Turbo. The problem is most of the "collection" is of the low value category. My cousin does not want to get rid of her husband's passion as junk. The whole experience, needless to say, has been very stressful for her. The airport hanger is packed wall to wall with complete cars, disassembled cars, engines, transmissions, and skids full of parts. Along with a Honda CB 550, 2 flight simulators, 2 Garage lifts, and a fork lift. I live far away, but have been down there to help her a couple of times, but there is only so much I can do from here.

But these Jaguars (The XJs anyway) are having a small bit of interest to some collectors. So I thought I would post them here. And if anyone was interested in helping her locally (Merritt Island, FL), I bet she would be glad to repay in metal. She has lots of it.
