Hello everybody! I've recently acquired an '03 S-Type 3.0L and am loving it!! Having spent 20 years as a mechanic with a couple of Honda dealers, I'm well experienced from a technical standpoint, however every vehicle has its quirks and I'm looking forward to trading ideas with the folks here.

Interestingly enough, even though my career in the Auto industry has now led me to a sales position, I'm actually more interested in dogs than cars. For me, they're a means to an end, but I've wanted a Jag since I saw my first XJ12 in a parking lot in my home city of Timmins when I was 12. Now, 30 years later and about 500 miles south of 'home', this puppy came in as a trade at one of the dealers we get cars from and although there are a few little issues, the overall structure is solid and it runs like a top.

Anyhow, I'm currently at work and should really be getting something done. Just wanted to say hi.

Thanks, Graham. I've already printed a couple of TSB's that apply to my car...tach has a bit of a bounce while driving with a cold engine & I might need to do the sunroof spring update - figured it had something to do with the deflector, but was afraid it would end up being a weak roof motor or a bad pulse counter for $1500...I also don't relish the idea of dropping the headliner out of this thing...they were a bugger on the Hondas and I don't expect Jag is much easier.
