Default Hey Jaguar Drivers!

Hey I'm Clayton and I'm 18. I have a 1996 Jaguar XJ6 with 193000 miles. I've driven it for 3 years now and wrecked it This year. I love that car so much that I am going to repair it even though I can barely afford it. I LOVE my Jag to the point to my devotion to keeping it could be a little stupid lol. Plus it's my first car and my dad kept his first car, a 1963 white Monte Carlo and I'd love to say I kept mine too. Only longer than him. It was crushed a few years ago tho . He had the car for about 30 years or so. I was don't want mine to be a rusted body like his but a working, restored classic car! the repairs that will be done my me will add up to about $2000+ dollars not including paint, trans and engine work Which could be a good 10K. Is anyone else that devoted to their first Jags or their first cars?

Hello, Clayton,
Yes, Many of us are so 'devoted' to our First Jaguars that we're spending Stupid amounts of money and time restoring/repairing/maintaining them. And all we'll have in the end is a nice looking Olde Car that, on the open market, might be worth 10% of what we have invested in it!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
