Hey I'm Mike and as the title says ill be aquiering hopefully tomorro once moneys cleared ect a 1998 cardinal red with cream interior xj8 x308 4.0 sovereign LWB that's only done 50000 miles from new full service history and one owner very much eagerly awaiting it bit of a upgrade from my 1.6 petrol 60 plate fiesta titanium I had and with that no doubt lots of posting questions ect on what to do with it if there's any probs but thought I would into my self I will upload some pics once I have it on the drive

Welcome to the forum Mike,

That's very low miles for a 15 year old UK vehicle. It should be in very good condition.

Follow Norri's link to the X308 section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Hey thanks for the link norri I've been looking around at some of the posts already And I will do when it lets me GGG and yea it's very good condition there's only one small spot of rust that I've been quoted £100 for a complete back to metal fix and some scuffs on the bumpers which can easily be repainted and I think one scuff on a wheel the leather is mint no marks now ware at all even the tool box under the bonnet still has the original plastic celio fane cover to keep the tools fresh ready for delivery ect rides beautifully can't wait to get it and I will defo put pics up as and when I can
