Default Hi

Hi, new member here saying hello from the UK.

I've just brought my first Jaguar (a mint 2002 X Type - 2.1 petrol, manual, 76k with FSH). I have always wanted a Jag. About a decade ago i put a deposit down on a 3.2 i6 in Kingfisher Blue but a change of circumstance meant i had to pull out of the deal. But since last week i finally got myself a Jag after wanting one since i was 14.

I love cars, and i work with cars as part of Aston Martin (my ultimate dream car maker). Past masters include: 3x 2.8 injection Capri's and a Brooklands 280 Capri , 2x 3 litre mk2 Supras, 200SX turbo, G limited MR2, BMW: 328i cabriolet, 530i V8, and 728i, mk2 MX5 1.8 amongst others.

Present fleet with my X Type are a timewarp Mk1 Capri 1.6 with 56k miles, and my wifes mk1 MX5 Eunos.

Looking forward to learning more about all things Jaguar. I see a few when i am at AML's factory what with Jaguar & Land Rover next door. I love the XK8 and F Type.
