Default Hi All!

Just a quick hello to say hi and I'd like to follow that up immediately with a thank you to all of the people here posting and sharing information. I have already learned an enormous amount of informational wealth about the 2002 2.5 X-Type I recently bought.

Hopefully as I start to dig into the mechs of this kitty (putting in place the tips and tricks learned here) I can too contribute back - it really is a great site you all have made.

I'm sure too that I will have many questions to come as I am becoming quite aware of the ummm... 'quirks' and 'personalities' of this car and of these cars in general.

So with that said, HOWDY! and hope to see you in the forums.

Sorry I have no pics yet as it ishas been to dang cold here in Ontario, Canuckville! -25c burrrrrr.

Hey Jagermeister......welcome to the forum, great to have you with us.
Glad you've found it useful so far and I'm sure there'll be loads more for you to find out in the future too and no doubt contribute at some point.
Look forward to seeing you around

Get some pics up of your car when you can and show her off a little. Maybe intro yourself in the Mug shot thread in the off topic section too?

All the best

Jim

Thanks for the warm welcome dudes and dudettes!

Howdy fellow Canucker! It's been a while since I drove thru your neck of the woods.

JagtechOhio: LOL thanks - I'm British/Canadianand I did a stint in Austriaso I thoughthe namefit.. plus I like the bottled stuff by the same name too but I'm not quite sure what you mean about the proofing -I am the least appropriate person for proof reading anything. My spelling sucks - blessed be the all mighty spell checker

I'll put some pics up soon.. it's suppose to be a balmy -3 here tomorrow.. Wooooo (I hope to get under the cat this weekend for some peekaboo).I'll see what mug shots I can throw up without scaring ya'll.

Proof reader, as in 'My gawd, I should have read the 120 proof on the bottle before I drank half of it'.

OK I finally got some pics when the car hasn't been covered in either:

A) Snow
B) Snow
C) Snow and salt
D) Salt and more salt.

Mug shot to be uploaded sometime in the future.

You'll notice if you look close that I am missing the fish mouth bar thingy... #23 on car to-do list lol.

Hey Kurtymac... thanks. I'd like to take credit but this is how it looked when I bought it.

When you say fronts.. do you mean the windscreen? or the 2 front driver/passenger door windows?

The tint on my windscreen is at factory level (not sure if they vary those levels). The other windows are all aftermarket.

Hope that helps.
