Hi all and a quick intro with question
Hi all just taken delivery of my I-Beast and completed my 1st chargemaster home charge - love it
The I-Beast first edition 22” wheels fully loaded
My I-Beast which now sits nicely next to my pride and joy - question is - does anyone know how rare if rare at all is a Maroon top on a XKR Ultimate Black? In the U.K. I have never come across one and can’t find any
on the net
Im looking forward to sharing my experiences from the I-Beast :-)
The Beast with what I think is a rare Marron hood - it’s a ultimate Black - can anyone enlighten me on how rare of at all is a Maroon top on this model?
thanks

Welcome to the forum Koruru,
I didn't realise there were so many hood colour options available on the XK until I checked JEPC:
Yours will be Burgundy but the chances of finding out numbers produced with this option from Jaguar are zero.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.

You could try asking Jaguar CRC ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/j...ip-centre-101/ ).
The factory have often claimed not to retain details on production numbers by colour and trim. Checking the specification printout for my XK, this appears to be true. Here is the first of four pages detailing the specification. Note that Trim Colour shows No description found even though everything else about it is detailed later in the document:
The equivalent Direct Dealer Warranty printouts for my earlier Jaguars did include trim colours so Jaguar policy must have changed. This could be a data protection issue or simply to avoid having to answer detailed questions from owners.
