Hi from England, no Jag yet.
Hello and thanks for looking.
I'm Allan, an active petrol head, serial modifier and enthusiast mechanic from the North West of England. I am currently looking for a Jaguar so have signed up to do as much research as possible before buying.
I'm after either an x308 XJR or an S Type R, I feel the need for 8 cylinders and a supercharger! I prefer the styling of the XJ series but the S Type R sells here in the UK for similar money to the XJR and has the later 4.2 engine and the bigger brakes. I'd like the later XJR that shares these features but unfortunately they are a bit out of budget still.
As I've said I'm a keen garage tinkerer so sorting any small issues won't be daunting and hopefully with the good advice on these boards I can do some preventative maintenance on any car that I buy.
