Default Hi from Ipswich, UK

Hi there! Since July this year I am a rather happy of 1995 XJ6 3.2 manual in Kingfisher Blue. And I bought this car for one purpose only. I'll be posting a thread about getting the car in subject, named by my wife and myself El Gato Grande, ready for one big-*** road trip. Eventually, in few months time, I'll try to post regular updates from road trip as well. In meantime you can always visit El Gato's website, El Gato Grande or become friends with my Jag on Facebook, www.facebook.com/e.g.g.jaguar

Welcome to the forum.

Best of luck with the restoration.

A manual G/box is quite a rare sight.

Road trip, Ipswich to Birmingham??

Good to see you.

Yes, it is rare, and surprisingly my wife and I can't stand automatics, so this find was like a treat to us And the road trip is going to be a bit longer than just a few hour trip to Birmingham :P We're planing on doing about 2000 miles, and it's going to be hot, hot, hot! So the trip starts in UK, but that's about it Right now we're not revealing any details of the trip, whoever will follow our progress will find out in the right time, the locations will be updated daily on the website and FB page when the road trip begins in few months time
