Hi guys!

After long wait my Jag will finally be on the road from 1st of April this year! And I was wondering if any of you (locally of course) would like to meet up somewhere (for example Ipswich Marina) for a nice photoshoot? I've got my DSLR Pentax K10D and my tripod ready, it could even be an evening photoshoot to get more dramatic effect Anyone interested? The more the better

 

XJ6 all done and just waiting for then end of the month to avoid wasting a few weeks VED?

Nearly done There's still few things to be done, but it's mostly cosmetic now. I managed to modify rear lights and give them the X350 look, I'll upload a tutorial video at some point, just need some spare time :-/

Just shame that most of users seems to be avoiding the regional section

Yes, sunny weekend sounds better than good And warmer than right now would be a bonus as well... Once we get more people interested in it, we shall see when and where exactly. I was also thinking about one of the may bank holiday weekends, as there's that Classic Car drive from Christchurch Park to Felixstowe, but for few years now I believe the weather's been always utterly rubbish, to the point that in 2010 (I think) they canceled it! :O

 

Is anyone going this weekend (Sunday that is) to the Ipswich Classic Car drive, everything begins in the Christchurch Park in the morning, nice display of different British, Euro and American classics, then the whole lot drives at 11:30 to Felixstowe!

 

I hope a few members can get together. It sounds a great day. Anyone who does go, don't forget your camera and post some pics here.

Dang! I was born in Sculthorpe 1958 and I lived in Ipswich years ago!! I went to infant school there. I lived by a quarry that was near the school. I lived across from a golf course, and I remember on sundays, they had stock car races near by. Anybody know of an old infant school near these discriptions? Man, now I know why they call it Mother England! I miss my mum!!!!
