Hi i have a 2001 x308 Vanden plas that I've been trying to bring back to life, i bought it not running and has been dead, at first i tried to just of course spray into intake and pray it'll work. It didn't, so i replaced spark plugs and coil packs, after that it would sputter and try to turn over for like 3 seconds and then die, then i got restricted performance and two misfires on 3 and 6, so i replaced the maf sensor and crank position sensor and it got rid of the restricted performance and the misfire codes, and i tried and tried nothing, so i replaced the fuel pump and filter, after that and trying to hard reset the ecu it gave me a manufacturer control code and i cant figure out what is wrong or what it means because i need some reader or something, if you have any tips or have met this problem i would appreciate it, this is my first car and i know a jag for a first car is crazy but i got it for 800 bucks and i wanted a true saloon to cruise in.
